About Heated Towel Rails
About Heated Towel Rails
About Heated Towel Rails

Craftsmanship

Our heated towel warmers are individually handcrafted in England to order and are made to the finest standards. Handmade in brass, towel warmers undergo numerous stages of manufacture resulting in highly polished, high quality products.

Economy

Towel warmers use minimal mains power, making running costs low. Being independent of heating systems they are also flexible for use during summer months or on demand. The power supply is safely concealed and there are no dangling wires.

Flexibility

They can be fitted into the space you have – above a bath, next to a shower and have waterproof elements. Boats and recreational vehicles can benefit from the home comforts of a towel rail as no mains electricity is needed for the 12V and 24V models.

Range

Can be wall mounted or floorstanding, with rails constructed in round or square tubing. The 38mm tubing gives a chunky look suited to period bathrooms where plumbing is accentuated.

We have styles to suit period or contemporary bathrooms with a choice of traditional ball fittings or straight flush fittings.

Wall Mounted

Stourton 32mm round tubing, choice of ball or straight joints

Churchill 38mm tubing, choice of ball or straight joints

Metro 38mm side and 25mm rails, square section

Floorstanding

Enville 32mm round tubing, choice of ball or straight joints

Blakedown 38mm round tubing, choice of ball or straight joints

Metro 38mm side and 25mm rails, square section

Finishes

Polished chrome, polished nickel and polished (unlacquered) brass. Satin finishes can also be produced.

Bespoke Work

We can make to your bespoke requirements:

Size - height, width, projection,

Number of rails

Location of power cable exit - Can exit via any of the mounting plates.

Power cable length - May be ordered to suit your installation, allowing connection to a fuse spur in a remote location.

Finishes – Polished chrome, polished nickel, polished brass, satin finishes too.

Guarantee

A two year replacement guarantee is offered on workmanship and the heating element. After two years any fault will be rectified at the nominal cost to the customer of labour materials and transportation, so you can buy with complete confidence. Liability cannot be accepted for damage caused by installers and damage caused to plated surfaces.

To Order

Please contact us by e-mail or phone 01746 712450. We will need the details of the style and dimensions you require.

Lead Time

All products are made to order with a lead time of 4-6 weeks.

Maintenance

Clean using a soft cloth dampened with soapy water followed by a gentle dry buffing with a soft cloth.

Technical

Towel warmers can operate in locations without electricity such as boats and recreational vehicles via a 12V or 24V supply.

For mains connection they can be made for 220-230V European standard or 110V USA Standard.

Heating elements conform to BSI standard

Heat output can be controlled using a good quality light dimmer switch. We recommend that the cable is run to a fused spur and you can specify cable length to enable this.

At 20 degrees C ambient temperature the towel warmer rails operate at 55-60 degrees. Each metre of element consumes 27 watts. A typical element with a length of 3 metres draws less than .5 amp on a 240v supply.
