Brass Lock Cover and Door Knocker Lions Head 
A unique and exquisite item! This is a lock cover suitable for most Chubb and Yale locks, which also acts as a small knocker. It solves a problem; it hides the modern lock on your traditional door. The item was reclaimed from an old country house where it was used on a bedroom door to both hide the lock and enable the maid to knock before she entered the room. We have taken the original and re-cast it in the traditional manner in solid brass. The finish is unlacquered. Also available in nickel.
