The Winchester and Claverley Bell Pulls
Brass door bells were prevalent in late Victorian and Edwardian houses. Our endeavour has been to reproduce this bell to the quality and standard of our Victorian peers.

Many months of work and prototyping have gone into this product to ensure its authenticity and effectiveness:

	The design has been faithfully copied from a period house in Winchester.
	Components are in solid cast brass, the spring is in tempered steel (as the originals were)
	Special heavy duty cord has been used.
	The character head on the back of the bell was produced using the lost wax process to retain the fine detail. The head itself is a caricature of an Edwardian Lady. She comes mounted on a seasoned oak backplate
	Best of all is the lovely tone of the bell, from this specially cast bell you will hear four diminishing rings of C# after one pull on the handle.
	The brass is not coated with modern lacquer and like the originals will naturally assume a patina of age as it weathers and tarnishes. It is then your choice to polish it or not..
	Additional pulleys can be supplied so you can mount the bell wherever it is required. We recommend an additional pulley for each 5 feet of distance you need to go.
