PRIORS DOOR KNOBS CHOSEN FOR RALPH LAUREN FLAGSHIP STORE IN DUBAI

Those arbiters of good taste at Ralph Lauren recently selected Priors Door Knobs for the new flagship store in Dubai.  Several pairs of our Nickel Georgian Octagonal mortise knobs were flown out recently to appear in the window display of the new store which opens soon.

We are very happy to have been selected and wish the store every success.

The knobs are available as a pair or as a single centre door knob and in polished nickel or unlacquered brass. We also have other door furniture in the range to complement the nickel door knobs, including door knockers, letter plates and escutcheons.

CHROME BATHROOM ACCESSORIES

Chrome is an ideal finish for bathroom accessories and the most popular choice for many reasons.

-They are easy to maintain and still look like new many years down the line. There is almost no maintenance on chrome bathroom accessories. If they do ever need a clean, just dust with a microfibre cloth or simply use detergent and water. Make sure you do not use any abrasive polishes, as this will wear down the plate.

Clear Glass Cupboard Knobs - Handcrafted in England

CLEAR GLASS CUPBOARD KNOBS

Clear glass cupboard knobs are the best selling colour in the range. This is because clear glass door knobs reflect colours beautifully and fit easily into all interiors.

In our new range of Handmade English Glass Cupboard Knobs, we can offer clear glass and frosted clear glass. The frosted glass is not so reflective, but gives a lovely cloudy look to the door knob or cupboard knob. This can be seen in the photographs.

Our range is made by a master glassmaker in the West Country. These are mini works of art and can be made in a range of sizes, to act as cupboard door knobs, drawer knobs, cabinet knobs, kitchen door knobs or door pulls. They will grace traditional or modern interiors.

Designs in the range include plain and decorative glass cupboard knobs.  Plain designs are Smooth, Oval and Balloon and the more decorative designs are, Chequerboard, Daisy and Ribbed. All are made to the very best quality standards.

Sizes can be made in knobs diameters from 30 to 60mm and with nickel or brass backs. If you need something specially made we also have a bespoke service.

PRIORS RECLAMATION EVOLVES INTO PRIORS

After trading as Priors Reclamation for 14 years we have decided to drop the word Reclamation from our name.

We started in general reclamation and then on into reclaimed flooring and doors. It is time for us to move on and we are going to concentrate on Door Furniture, Window Furniture and Bathroom Accessories. None of these ranges are reclaimed, hence we are dropping the word reclamation as it is clearly misleading. Nothing else changes! We will continue to strive to maintain our reputation for best quality traditional products, accompanied by good value and service.

Window Casement Stay Pear Drop

CASEMENT FASTENERS & CASEMENT STAYS – PEAR DROP

In brass and nickel plate we offer our most popular Bulb Casement Window Furniture, in Iron and Pewter we offer the very similar Pear Drop Design. This is a simple plain design which looks excellent on a painted or natural wood window.

If your home is older then Black Wax finish Casement Fasteners would look traditional. The Pewter finish, which is new to the Pear Drop range, offers a contemporary look. These items are great value and really look the part.

In the Iron finish we offer a Casement Fastener, which is supplied with a mortise receiving plate. A hook plate can be purchased as an inexpensive accessory. We also offer a Casement Stay in 3 sizes 200/250/300mm. If you prefer a painted black finish then these can be ordered if you contact us for details. These are good for damp bathrooms and windows with condensation.

In the Pewter finish we offer the Casement Fastener and Casement Stay as above and in addition we do an Espagnolette fastener which fits modern Espagnolette window locking systems.

If the simplicity of the Pear Drop is not to your liking we do a Monkey Tail and a Shepherd’s Crook design in our casement window furniture range.

Brass Sash Lift Hook - Cast

SASH LIFT HOOK – CAST

The Sash Lift Hook is used on the bottom rail of a sash window. You would normally use two on each window.  The sash hook faces downwards and you hook your fingers around it to lift and vent the window.

There are many sash window lifts on the market and you can certainly buy ones much cheaper than the one we offer. So why buy ours?

- CAST in SOLID brass

Brass is poured into a mould to create the sash hook. This means it has a chunky (4mm thick) cast look with edges nicely rounded.  Most brass sash lifts are pressed and are quicker and easier to manufacture, with the better quality ones pressed from a solid sheet of brass. Cheap ones are thin, pressed from a brass coated base metal and then lacquered. The latter will have a very short life.

- Made to last a lifetime and more!

- English made by superb metal craftsmen.

These are small items but the detailing can really make a difference to the look of your windows. Our Sash Hook is of the finest quality  - just a lovely item!

Our Cast Sash Hook is offered in solid brass (unlacquered), polished nickel, polished chrome and bronzes by request. The plated finishes have a solid brass base.
